Working together to promote high-quality industrial development
On October 8, 2025, the Uganda National Bureau of Standards (UNBS) conducted a series of in-depth industrial exchange and promotion activities in Liaoshen Industrial Park, aiming to promote the construction of quality standards in Uganda's industrial system, facilitate the compliant development of enterprises, and enhance market competitiveness.
The UNBS team had face-to-face communication with several key enterprises and industry representatives in the park, emphasizing the importance of following national standards and international norms. This event is not only a dialogue between regulatory agencies and enterprises, but also an important step in building a high-quality industrial ecosystem.

Promote the implementation of standards and build a solid foundation for quality
UNBS explicitly stated during the event that standards are the core of ensuring product safety, improving service quality, and achieving sustainable development. By systematically explaining national standards and international guidelines, UNBS helps companies better understand their responsibilities and opportunities in various aspects of production, management, and export.
This event also demonstrates UNBS' firm commitment to supporting compliant business operations, promoting fair trade, and boosting consumer confidence. Only by improving the overall level of the industry can Ugandan products win more trust and recognition in regional and international markets.

Building a collaborative ecosystem to support enterprise growth
UNBS points out that a transparent and collaborative industrial environment is crucial for achieving sustainable economic growth. As an important platform for Uganda's industrial development, Liaoshen Industrial Park will continue to work with UNBS to help enterprises strengthen their awareness of standards, optimize production processes, and enhance product competitiveness.
This cooperation not only provides direct policy interpretation and technical guidance for enterprises, but also lays a solid foundation for Uganda to create a more attractive investment environment.
UNBS will continue to carry out similar activities nationwide to promote more enterprises to join the ranks of "quality oriented enterprises" and jointly create a high-quality brand image of "Made in Uganda".
We look forward to more enterprises achieving breakthroughs under the guidance of standards and jointly promoting Uganda's industry to a new level.
