On June 14, 2025, Counsellor Wang Jianxun and his delegation from the Commercial Office of the Chinese Embassy in Uganda conducted research and guidance work at the Liaoshen Industrial Park in China and Ukraine, and held a symposium with the theme of "Safety is the primary productive force". Subsequently, Counselor Wang rushed to the NAKASEKE area of Uganda without stopping to participate in the free clinic activities of the 24th batch of medical teams from China (Yunnan) to aid Uganda, witnessing the donation of medical equipment from the Liaoshen Industrial Park in China and Uganda to local hospitals. This series of activities demonstrates the deep integration of China and Ukraine in the fields of economic and trade cooperation and medical assistance, injecting new impetus into local economic development and people's well-being.
1、 Research on Zhongwu Liaoshen Industrial Park: Focusing on Safety and Building a Strong Foundation for Development
Counselor Wang Jianxun and his delegation went deep into the Liaoshen Industrial Park in China and Ukraine, and visited Wuxi Taiyu (Uganda) Manufacturing Co., Ltd. and Wangkang Ceramics Uganda Co., Ltd. on site, focusing on inspecting the safety production management, operation situation, and technical processes of the enterprises. As an important economic and trade platform for China Ukraine cooperation, the park has attracted more than 30 Chinese enterprises to settle in, covering multiple fields such as manufacturing, infrastructure, and agriculture. During the survey, Counselor Wang highly affirmed the efficient operation of the park and the resilience of Chinese enterprises rooted in Africa, emphasizing that "safety is the lifeline of enterprise development and the cornerstone of the continuous deepening of China Ukraine cooperation
2、 Security Symposium: Consolidate Consensus and Build a Safety Barrier Together
At the subsequent symposium, Counselor Wang had in-depth exchanges with more than 30 enterprise managers on the core issue of "safety first, prevention as the main focus". The meeting pointed out that in the face of complex and ever-changing overseas environments, enterprises need to strengthen their risk awareness, improve emergency plans, and strictly abide by safety production norms. Attendees expressed that this symposium not only enhanced their awareness of safety management, but also clarified the concept of "safety investment equals benefit output", providing practical guidance for subsequent operations.
3、 Medical aid and donations: fulfilling responsibilities and conveying the friendship between China and Africa
After the research was completed, Wang Canzan and his delegation immediately transferred to the NAKASEKE area of Uganda to participate in the free clinic activities of the 24th batch of medical teams from China (Yunnan) to aid Uganda. The medical team experts provide diagnosis and treatment services to the local people, covering multiple fields such as internal medicine, surgery, pediatrics, etc. The atmosphere on site is warm and the public praises them highly. At the same time, the China Ukraine Liaoshen Industrial Park donated a batch of urgently needed medical equipment to hospitals in the region, helping to improve the local medical infrastructure level. This action vividly interprets the connotation of "win-win cooperation" in China Africa relations and highlights the responsibility of Chinese enterprises to give back to society.
4、 Deepen cooperation and build the future together
This research and assistance activity not only demonstrates China's high attention to the safe development of enterprises in Ukraine, but also reflects the close cooperation between China and Ukraine in the field of healthcare. As an important gathering platform for Chinese enterprises in Uganda, the China Ukraine Liaoshen Industrial Park will continue to optimize its safety management mechanism and safeguard the high-quality development of enterprises; The dedication and donation of the Chinese medical team to aid Uganda have injected new impetus into the well-being of the people in Uganda. Both sides working hand in hand will surely write a more brilliant chapter for the comprehensive cooperative partnership between China and Ukraine in the new era.
